Pastor Norm is a graduate of Bethel College, Mishawaka, Indiana. After serving as a youth pastor in Mishawaka for four years, Norm and his wife, Linda, moved to the Angola area in 1974 to pastor Fairview Missionary Church. They have two married sons and seven grandchildren.

After 40 years as Senior Pastor of FMC, Pastor Norm has transitioned into the role of Caring Pastor and overseer of small groups.  Transition occurred on Sunday, January 25, 2015.
