Notes from here and there…
I have watched a few of the Easter musical rehearsals. It is all WOW. But for me, the best part is the mature men’s quartet singing “I Stand Amazed in the Presence”. It starts with Wil Iler singing a solo and he is joined by all the choir and then three other men – George Kline, Jim Powers, and Lee Busch (get out the kleenex). Then everyone leaves slowly and it is just Wil finishing the song. In my heart that performance will go down as a part of an Easter musical we will always remember. As you attend, you will have your special scenes and songs you will remember too. Come early. Regular attenders, thank you for parking on the lower level lot. The musical is one hour and 45 minutes.
