This was sent to me by someone in the congregation. This is good. This family sent this message to their family and friends:
“Because so much is at stake in the November 6th presidential election, and because everything we hold dear is on the ballot, here is a simple way we can make a difference.
If each of us would encourage 2 like-minded family and friends to
register to vote and invite them vote, we could make a positive impact on the direction of our country, the men and women who lead it and the policies they enact!
The following web site is a good way for us in Indiana to register to
vote and to find other helpful information about voting.
You can click on topics such as:
CONFIRM MY VOTER REGISTRATION
UPDATE MY VOTER REGISTRATION
FIND MY POLLING PLACE
REVIEW CANDIDATES ON MY BALLOT
ANOTHER way to register to vote is to go the Angola Court House, on the Circle (55 Public Square) Voters Registration (main floor) and ask for a registration form, fill it out and give it to the clerk.
THE MOST HELPFUL web site to find out if your like-minded family or friends are registered and a way to encourage them to register or to vote:
Enter the name of a like-minded person you know, in any state.
Click on the box to agree to use the information only to encourage
voter registration. You will then see if the person is registered and how you can send an invitation to them to register, or if they are registered, there is an invitation you can send to encourage them to vote.
Note: Registration deadline is October 9.
Two other sites with voter look up:
As Christ’s representative on earth, Christians have a mandate to be the ‘salt and light’ in our culture (Matt. 5:13-16). “
