This week one of my Facebook friends posted a list of ’emergency numbers’ of who to look up when certain events are happening in your life. We have all seen them – when in sorrow call John 14, when you worry call Matthew 9:16 (see the list
here). I admit I usually skip right over such postings but for some reason I stopped to read this one. Then I realized I know someone at FMC who is dealing with every one of these issues listed. That morning, for my devotions, I read all those scriptures and prayed for the people that came to my mind on each topic. You never know what the person sitting right next to you on Sunday morning is struggling with.
