This Sunday I continue the “Love your Enemies” message. When Jesus asked us to love our enemies, He asked us to go the second mile and to turn the other cheek. Why? Because the message the enemy hears in the second mile is different than the one he hears in the first mile. What are we doing at the church this week? We are playing “musical offices”. We are rearranging offices getting ready for Jon Geyer to arrive. Joel is moving to Jake’s office, Jake is moving to the office Vonda has been using when she works on our website, and Vonda has been moved to room S 103/104. All of this so Jon can have Joel’s office. It is confusing even to us. Someday, as part of the leadership transition, Joel and I will trade offices.
