Prayers Answered1. Many have been praying for the sale of a house owned by our missionary, Don Riley. An email I received this morning says his house has sold and they are making final arrangements to go to Africa. Click here for a video introduction to Don and his vision. Each child receives their own “car” to drive into the theater and watches a movie with popcorn and other snacks. This event is sharp. Keep up the good work, Jessica and crew!
3. I got a report this morning that Mark and Glenn got the lights fixed in the sanctuary. The back two rows say thanks! At least I think they say thanks.
4. Every Sunday I meet someone who tells me it is their first time or second time at FMC, and how much they like it here. Last week a young family from Fort Wayne, new to our area for 3-4 months, said they were coming from a church of 50-100 on a good Sunday, and they really like us.
5. Are you or your child going off to college soon? You may be interested in the College Transition Seminar, 8:30-12:30 on Saturday, January 26 at Nappanee Missionary Church. Contact Jake Shipe for more information or to indicate your desire to attend.
6. As I write this I am at home, sitting in a very warm sun room with the sun shining through the windows. I have been sick all week but am heading in the right direction now, I pray. Pastor Joel will be speaking this Sunday. I will be with you only in spirit. |
