Norm’s Notes

staffnormPlaying the Game of Your LifeThis Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday. Why not invite people to your home to watch the game with you? There are always lots of stories about the players and the advertising and this years’ brothers/coaches but two unique stories that may get overlooked are about two players who were both adopted out of extreme poverty. One player, Michael Oher, plays for the Ravens, the other player, Patrick Willis, plays for the 49ers. Michael’s story is told in the movie “The Blind Side” (which you can get on Netflix). Read and see their stories here. Follow these links for their Christian testimonies: Patrick Willis and Michael Oher.

One more note…
As you read your Bible through this year, tomorrow you start on Leviticus. It is one of the hardest books in the Bible to understand and many people give up on reading in Leviticus. Keep in mind that all the sacrifices and offerings and regulations mentioned point to Christ and when He came, He fulfilled all those laws in God’s eyes and became our sacrifice.  Keep reading, the story gets more exciting after Leviticus!
