Jessica is on the phone about sports camp. She is also busy getting ready for Sunday morning kids worship while she finishes her lunch and calls around looking for a sub for the toddler room.
Day care is quiet at this time of day. The kids are asleep and the teachers are trying to stay awake.
Tawny just came in to work. She is working 1 – 9 today, cleaning day care after they close at 5:30. We are seeking a day care cleaner. See Mark if you are interested.
Glenn has left to go read a book to the kids at Hendry Park school through the “Real Men Read” program. He does this once a week.
Jan, our counselor, is at the copy machine copying helpful material for one of her clients.
Jake has his office door closed and did not respond to a knock on the door so he is in some serious talk with someone.
Joel is not in his office, not sure where he is. He’s probably in the youth rooms but I am not going to run up there to see. His calendar says he is here somewhere and he follows his calendar better than any of us here.
Mark is helping someone get chairs out of the closet for an event.
Michelle is having lunch in the kitchen. I did not bother her but this will be on her desk when she returns.
I am working on Sunday’s message, reading email from missionaries, and trying to clear off my desk.
That’s a little about life at the church today. What are you doing today?
