Some thoughts to share
I am excited about this week’s message as we continue the work sermon series: “How to get a promotion at work.” This may be a two parter. We study Joseph of the Old Testament. Bring the neighborhood.
It’s exciting to see our snow birds arrive each week. Welcome home!
I am excited about the new youth pastor interviews. One more to go and then the committee will make some decisions as to the next round.
I am excited about the church. There are new people everywhere. Linda and I joined a new flock that just started last Sunday. Summer events are coming together, now we just need summer weather. Check out our website for other news and information about the church.
Nine people are to be baptized this Sunday. That’s exciting.

On the heavy heart side… Our nation has lost its conscience. It is incomprehensible to me how the trial of an abortion doctor charged with killing 7 babies who were born alive, one adult, and possibly as many as 100 other babies, is not covered by most major media at all. The news is that we as a nation do not see that as news. We have totally lost our conscience. View a link here (warning, graphic reading).
