Love Thy Neighbor
The Indy 500 is this Sunday. Indy cars go up to 220 mph. At that speed I can get to Parkview Regional in just under 6 minutes. Of course I didn’t see anything along the way and I did not have an opportunity to be a good Samaritan to anyone because I was going too fast. Some people’s lives are like that. They are going so fast they don’t see their neighbor in need.

This Sunday we continue our series on loving thy neighbor as thyself and point one in the message is you have to slow down if you are ever going to see your neighbor’s need.

2nd Saturday Serve

Bible Byte
“The whole point of what we’re urging is simply love – love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God. Those who fail to keep to this point soon wander off into cul-de-sacs of gossip. They set themselves up as experts on religious issues, but haven’t the remotest idea of what they’re holding forth with such imposing eloquence.”  1 Timothy 1:5-7 (msg)
