I.Q. We all know this as our Intelligence Quotient. It is supposed to tell us how smart we are. My I.Q. is normal, sometimes lower than normal.E.Q. This is our Emotional Quotient. This measures how much emotional energy we bring to any task. It measures our perseverance and ability to remain encouraged. For some people, a high E.Q. means when they see problems they are energized to solve them. People with a high E.Q. accomplish more than people with just high I.Q. My E.Q. is higher than many people’s.
A.Q. This measures our Anger Quotient. Some people have a very high A.Q. and it gets them in trouble a lot. These folks respond to most everything with anger. If you naturally have a high A.Q., get help. You are not honoring God with your anger. Here in the last few weeks my A.Q. has gone up. Why? I have been writing my letter to the national and state leaders about the wrong decision the Indiana ATC made when it overturned the local board’s decision to deny the strip club a liquor license. The people of Steuben County have been dealt an injustice by a state agency and I feel led to try to correct the ATC’s wrong decision. The letter is not written in anger but my blood is warmer than normal. My E.Q. and A.Q. are about as high as they have been in a while.
P.Q. Prayer Quotient. I need your Prayer Quotient to be higher than ever in this matter. I am fully convinced that in this issue we fight not against flesh and blood but against the powers of darkness. Ask God to send his high I.Q. angels to give wisdom and understanding to the forces of righteousness in this battle.
G.Q. Grandpa Quotient. As this email goes out to you my G.Q. is very high too, as Linda and I have three of the sweetest little girls you would ever want to meet at the Fort Wayne zoo today.
