Pray and Vote
The next step in the battle to keep the strip club from coming to our community, within one mile of Fairview, is on Tuesday, November 4. On that day the lawyers for both sides will present their cases in a Chicago court room beginning at 10:30 our time. I ask all of us to enter into this fight with our prayers and fasting. I urge all to ask the God of the angel armies to send His angels into the battle with their swords drawn, ready to fight against the forces of evil. Ask our God to give wisdom and clarity of thought to the forces of righteousness as they present their case. Ask God to send confusion and disarray into the forces of evil as they talk. Ask God to help the judges make bold decisions to stand for what a community wants. With our prayers we can all be present in the courtroom that day.
Next Tuesday is also election day and the battle against the strip club is a lot like the battle for much of our nation. I encourage you to pray and to vote for righteousness.
The sanctuary of the church is always open for you to come and cry out to God.
