Random Thoughts

I am still living on the excitement of Easter weekend. That was super great. I think the last scene with the cast laying their crowns at the feet of Jesus is forever etched in our minds and hearts. Great job, everyone!

Linda and I went to see Heaven is For Real, a movie based on a true story. I encourage you to see it, too. It is very thought provoking.The movie, Irreplaceable, by Focus on the Family, is coming to theaters one night only on Tuesday, May 6. 7:30 p.m. at Coldwater Crossing in Fort Wayne. Tickets are $12.50.

Unique Ministry…. “We are better than Port-a-Potty” is the motto of the bathroom ministry of Rona Missionary Church in Fairborn, Ohio (Dayton area). The church is next to a community park that has only portable bathrooms. The church opens its building and bathrooms to the soccer league that meets on the weekends. The first Sunday 80 kids and adults were in the facility who had never been in the church before.

My oldest granddaughter, Anna, was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society this week. She is two steps ahead of the crowd when it comes to academics.
