Norm’s Notes

There has been an awful lot said about the Supreme Court’s ruling on same sex marriage. These are three of the best links I have come across:

If you are a Christian and agree with the ruling, answer these 40 questions.

The best article on this for the church.

The message we FMCers like the best.

One of the verses of the Bible that speaks to me on this whole topic is Proverbs 22:28, “Do not move an ancient boundary stone set up by your forefathers.” Our Supreme Court moved the boundaries, boundaries that have not been moved since Sodom and Gomorrah until this generation. This is not good. Pray for our nation.

A good story…

I like talking to people and hearing their inspiring stories. Here is part of one of those recent stories:

The person who was dating her soon-to-be husband. He lived in Fort Wayne, she lived in the Detroit area in the 1950’s. They wrote letters to each other for 19 months and she has kept all those letters all these years in the order they were written. After 28 years of marriage her husband suddenly went to heaven following a stroke 31 years ago. Her life has had many sharp turns. To get through it all she journals, many journals. Her kids and grandkids and many generations to come have a priceless treasure. I hope I can inspire her to tell her story to others.
