Please pray that the Lord open the heart of a friend of mine and that my friend will accept the Lord, live for Him and attend church. I believe that the Lord is working in his life. I also ask that the Lord guide me in what He wants me to do in this. In Jesus name!

Please pray for my family's health. Pray that we would see God's hand at work. Pray that we would praise him in this season of life even though its challenging at times.

My Uncle Michael, whom I've requested prayers for, passed away last night. He was my mom's only sibling and this Friday will be the one year anniversary of my mom's passing. Prayers would be appreciated through this time.

A big thanks to all who prayed. We had several God sightings, answers to prayer, and I want to share a few praises so you all may be encouraged by what happened at Wingshadow. Family health issues were resolved on Wed. so Rick, Jerry, Leon, and Richard were able to attend. By the grace of God, and answer to prayer we had in FMC parking lot Thursday morning right before leaving, Fred's tie rod broke as he pulled out of his parking spot, rather than on I-69 going 70 mph. A back up vehicle was secured, no one was hurt, and we only lost an hour. The 2-day service projects went well, no injuries and everyone returned with all their fingers. I was holding down a tree limb while another cut it with a chain saw, and a chip flew out and hit my chest bruising it. It barely missed my eye, and if it had hit it, it would have put it out. On Friday I was cooking Bratwurst on tripod over the fire on Friday for 14 guys, as I took the last one off the fire, the tripod pulley broke and the grill fell into the fire. Joe missed the last step going to the lower level of the lodge, fell to cement floor, and almost landed head first into the side of stone fireplace. We all benefited from great teaching about "Bulding A Life" for God, family and others. After each man spent 2-4 hours alone on Saturday afternoon in the beautiful woods praying and going over what they learned during the first 3 sessions, we had a 4 hour time of sharing around the campfire. This is our 5th retreat at Wingshadow and our sharing time has never went from more than an hour. So 4 hours indicates how God was working in the lives of the men. Everyone came home changed!
All praise and glory be to God,
Dave Bruns
